15-Day Gouache Painting Challenge - Nature Themed

I do not like working with watercolors and gouache much because I hate waiting for the paint to dry. But l love looking at the works of watercolor/gouache artists because of the aesthetic look of both medium.

An acquaintance encouraged me to usw gouache for at least 15 days. She thought that I might appreciate working with it more.   Painting on a larger size sounded intimidating so I settled with a postcard size. 

The pictura above is my finished works. It was nice making them. I guess I appreciated it more. Should I make more in the future? Perhaps.

I'm traveling all day with family so I wasn't able to draw with my traditional tools. I used the IbisPaint app in my smartphone. 😅

Our dog deatroyed the garden scren door and made a hige hole..... out of excitement!! 😱🤣 We just came home after a long day. The door was made out of aluminum so it did not survive our chow's strenght 😝. I guess we need ta have the door customed to steel.

The line textures make the drawing more interesting. It was boring and plain when I didn't apply those texture.

I went for the 2nd booster shot of the Covid vaccine. It took my energy away since I had to wait in the line and I can feel the side effects already. Anyway, I managed to squeeze in this drawing. I guess I'm pretty much confident with drawing since this took only 5 minutes.

Day 13/30 - 30 Days of Dogs #DrawingisImportantClass

I have a headache today. But for the sake of sticking with the habit, I maaaade this! It took me around 10 minutes or less.

By the way, I'm using ink for my daily drawings of dogs. I use dip pens, brushes and felt tip pens.

I tried to make it more cartoonish than my previous drswings. What do you think?

I didn't like how this turned out. I will try to make it look better. Maybe I'll turn that magic ball into a tennis ball? And will add more details to his face.

My intention was to draw a cartoony and simplistic drawing today. But I ended up adding more details. What do you think?

Another drawing before bedtime. Skater dog!! I did this for about 15 minutes. I'll try to draw in the morning so I could have more time with the drawing challenge.

Better late than never! Took a time to draw this before bedtime. Drew this around 20 mins. or so. 

I tried to apply the scratchboars illustration style (inspired by @tri.shiba on Instagram). My hands were to shaky to make cleaner lines 🤣

30 Days of Dogs - Planning and Day 1/30

I started this 30-day challenge after watching Mr. Tom Froese's "Drawing is Important" class on Skillshare.

I will be focusing more on drawing in black and white for 30 days. After that, I'll start planning my next 30-day exercises of studying colors using Procreate.
